Donnor Lake - Lake Tahoe Fishing

Shore fisherman can expect Browns and Rainbows dunking night crawlers, power bait, or salmon eggs near the boat ramp or the west end of the beach.  Top liners have the best luck in in the shallow water using flasher/worm combinations or minnow imitating lures.  Trollers go for Mackinaw using a minnow imitating lure or jig for the best results.  Early on the macks may be found in the shallows.  For more information contact Donner State Park at (530) 582-7892.

Take the 1st RIGHT onto US-50 E.go 8.9 mi
Turn LEFT onto NV-28 (Crossing into CALIFORNIA).  NV-28 is 0.3 miles past GENOA PEAK RD.go 16.2 mi
NV-28 becomes CA-28 / N LAKE BLVD.go 1.7 mi
Turn RIGHT onto N SHORE BLVD / CA-267. Continue to follow CA-267.  CA-267 is just past SECLINE ST.go 11.8 mi
Merge onto I-80 W via the ramp on the LEFT toward SACRAMENTO.  If you reach CA-89 S you've gone about 0.1 miles too fargo 6.8 mi
Take EXIT 180 toward DONNER LAKE.go 0.2 mi
Stay STRAIGHT to go onto DONNER LAKE RD.go 1.4 mi
Turn RIGHT onto DONNER PASS RD.go 0.3 mi
Take the 3rd LEFT onto S SHORE DR.  If you reach WOLFE DR you've gone about 0.1 miles too far.
ake the 1st RIGHT onto OLD HIGHWAY DR.  If you reach TAMARACK RD E you've gone a little too far.
