April 26 - 28, 2013 Rated "Very Good" in cleanliness and "Excellent" in all other categories.
March 27 - 31, 2013 Rated "Excellent" in convenience of booking, and "Very Good" in most other categories.  "We had a good time!", they wrote.  They also wrote to us that we have some uninvited woodpeckers making nests in the back wall of the house.  This has been an ongoing problem for us.  At the suggestion of a pest control specialist, we put a plastic owl on the deck.  That helped, but apparently the problem has returned.
March 22 - 26, 2013 Rated "Excellent" or "Very Good" in all categories.  They wrote "The house is very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need in the kitchen, etc.  You can walk to the beach at Zephyr Cove & it's a very quick drive to the ski resort (10 minutes).  Very nice!".
March 11 - 16, 2013 Rated "Excellent" in most categories, and "Excellent" overall.  "Thank you very much.  We had a good time!", they wrote.  All of the smoke alarm batteries are being replaced.  We've contacted a pest control expert to cover the back wall with netting to stop the woodpeckers from nesting in the wall, so we hope this will be solved soon!&npsp; Our apologies to you if you happen to be great fans of woodpeckers...we just wish they'd stick to the trees around the property.
February 28 - March 3, 2013 Rated "Excellent" in most categories, including convenience of booking, accuracy of information, location, cleanliness, amenities, and overall. Rated "Very Good" in outstide appearance, inside appearance, and quality of furnishings.  They wrote "Thanks!  It was a wonderful stay."

February 11 - 20, 2013 This is a very nice note from this February guest who stayed 9 nights.  They wrote "We had a great time...Your house was very lovely & we hope we'll be able to stay there again the next time we have a big group.  We'll be sure to recommend it too!"

February 8 - 10, 2013 Rated "Excellent" in every category.  They wrote "Again as always we had a wonderful stay at Tahoe Tarns.  We so look forward to our trip to Tahoe Tarns each year and are never disappointed.  Thanks again and we'll see you next year!"
January 25 - 27, 2013 "Very Good" Overall Rating, and almost every category.  Unfortunately, the 10-year-old fridge in our kitchen gave up the ghost.  A new refrigerator was installed on January 31, 2013, so we're back in the pink!

"Very Good ++" Overall Rating, and "Excellent" convenience of booking, accuracy of information, location, cleanliness, and value vs. price.  They wrote "We had an amazing stay.  Everything from the grill to the heat to the hot tub ran very well.  The price and value was unbeatable."  In a separate note they wrote: "We were also grateful for the ready amenities such as paper towels, soap, and shampoo.  The location was amazing, the hot tub was perfect ... My group enjoyed the stay very much and I would be very interested in renting out the place next season for a longer period."
December 7 - 9, 2012 Rated "Very Good" overall and "Excellent" convenience of booking, accuracy of information received, cleanliness, and value vs. price.  They wrote "Thanks for letting us use the cabin.  We had a great time.  It had a homey feeling".
November 21 - 25, 2012 "Excellent" overall and in most rating categories; "Very Good" inside appearance and cleanliness.  They wrote "Everything was perfect...thanks a lot".  Here is a nice email from this guest on their day of departure.
August 23 - 27, 2012 "Very Good" value vs. price, and "Excellent" in all other rating categories.  They wrote "Every thing was nice. We had a Great Time".

"Excellent" convenience of booking and location, "Very Good" in all other rating categories.  They wrote "Great vacation. Plenty of sleeping space. Homey." on the rating feedback sheet, and included this nice note on a separate thank you card: "Maria, Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your Tahoe home.  The home was just right for our extended family.  Tahoe is a beautiful vacation destination."
July 2 - 9, 2012 "Excellent" convenience of booking and accuracy of information, "Very Good" location, value vs. price, and overall rating.  No excuses for the BBQ not getting attention between guests. Our cleaning crew should have cleaned it and filled both 5 gallon propane bottles stored with it.  It will be clean and filled before the next guest checks in on July 13.
June 28 - July 1, 2012 "Excellent" in nearly all categories, and "Excellent" overall rating.
June 14 - 26, 2012 "Excellent" convenience of booking and location, "Very Good" accuracy of information, outside appearance, amenities, valuve vs. price, and overall rating.  We checked the garage door opener that was returned and found the 10-digit security code had been reset; we're very sorry for that inconvenience. In the future we will double check every opener before sending it out.  The carpets were professionally cleaned in March, so we think the pollen must be everywhere in the house too; we've called our carepet service to get in there on July 9 or 10.

May 4 - 7, 2012 Rated "Excellent" in all categories.  They wrote "Maria, we enjoyed the stay very much.  We'll be looking forward to booking the next time with you!"
